"Home is where the heart is" presents everyday well-known objects in altered, challenging design. This is done as an attempt to challenge the way we understand and use these objects, and the feelings they awake in us.

The idea is derived from the concept of "the feeling of home" as something comfortable and predictable. The design and function of these objects are thought to provoke the opposite of these feelings; discomfort and attention, for instance through a watering jug that pours from both spout and handle.
